"I'm thinking of cancelling — what are my options?"

Edited

Before you cancel, it's worth knowing what your options are — because cancelling isn't always the best fit for your situation, and it does have one significant consequence: it resets any loyalty benefits you've built up. If you cancel and rejoin later, your loyalty starts from zero.

If your situation is temporary, a pause or downgrade might be a better fit:

  • Pause — available for injury, medical reasons, redundancy, maternity/paternity leave, or travel (if you have 2+ years of membership). Your spot is held and loyalty is protected.

  • Downgrade — drop to a cheaper membership while you're away or training less. You can switch back when you're ready. Loyalty is fully preserved.

If you do want to cancel, here's how it works:

  • Give at least 7 days' notice before the 1st of the month

  • Your membership stays active until the end of the paid period

  • Cancellations must be submitted via email or the cancellation form — not via coaches, WhatsApp, or in person

  • On a fixed-term membership (3 or 6 months)? These can't be cancelled mid-term, though the 14-day cooling-off period applies if you joined online.

We'd always encourage you to get in touch before cancelling — we can talk through what's available and help you find the right option. Contact Member Support or the Gym team and we'll take it from there.
